Maksat Altaev 2

Altaev Maksat was born in 1970 in Ashgabat. After graduating from high school, he studied at the three-class drama studio at the then Mollanepes Academic Drama Theater. Later he studied at the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and received a higher education. Altaev Maksat has been working at the Turkmen State Puppet Theater since 2019. He always strives for innovation and nationalism in theatrical art. Based on the book by our hero Arkadag “The Spiritual World of the Turkmens”, the play “The History of an Era” was staged according to the script he created. It was presented at the theater competition “Turkmen Theatrical Art”, held in 2021 – the year “Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust”. The intellectual books of our hero Arkad always inspire Maksat Altaev to create. He gave short skits to television programs based on figures and legends from wisdom books. He has also produced several videos on health and road safety. Maksat Altaev’s short film “Baki Juvan – Ashgabat” participated in the “Ashgabat Spring” festival and received an award. Currently, as a director, he is directing the production of Magtymguly Khudaiberdiyev’s play “Shoes with and without laces.” Altaev Maksat actively participates in activities related to the culture and art of the country.
