Stage master of the Turkmen State Puppet Theatre, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan.


Annachary Kakabayev was born in 1966 in the village of Babadaykhan, Tejen etrap, Ahal velayat. When he was in high school, he went to music circles held at school, after that he participated in amateur drama circles in the house of culture in Tejen etrap. Students of the puppet theater artist (in Leningrad) in St.Petersburg, girls-boys, in 1982, during practice in the house of culture of the city of Tejen, P.Agamammedov’s play “The Shepherd and the Blind Crow” are staged. In this play, to Annachary Kakabayev revives the role of a blind crow. In 1987-1990, he studied at the three-year school (studio) for the training of artists at the Mollanepes Academic Drama Theater in Ashgabat and received the profession of a drama and film artist.
Annachary Kakabayev in 1991 began working as an artist in the Turkmen State Puppet Theater. He created about 70 large and small roles on the stage of the puppet theater. He annually participates in children’s festivities in the role of Santa Claus during the New Year holidays, regularly creates the image of Santa Claus in television films dedicated to the New Year.
Annachary Kakabaev is a mentor for young artists of the Turkmen State Puppet Theatre. He teaches them to the hidden secrets of puppetry. He participates in international festivals of puppet theaters held abroad and receives awards. Over the years, he participated in puppet theater festivals with the names “Caspian Coast”, in the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation, “The Way to the Stars” in Poltava, Ukraine, “Tales of Hovhannes Tumanyan” in Armenia, “Kukart” in St.Petersburg, Russian Federation, “Carnival” in the city of Almaty, the Republic of Kazakhstan, “The dream of dolls on the wall” in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Annachary Kakabayev played “Bovenjik” in the production of B. Gutlymuradov “Bovenjik”, Purli in the production of G.Danatarov’s “Doll”, played Dana Baba K.Tanrygulyev in “Pilmakhmyt”, played the Scarecrow K.Meshkov in “Once upon a time there was a rabbit” Grandfather in the production of H.Shirov “Yartygulak”, a cat staged by A.Gurbandurdyev “The Goat of My Mother”, Giant staged by G.Sahatduryyev “Three Hundred Golden”, Halyl staged by B.Batyrov “A Chance in the Garden”, Tiger staged “Three Bulls”, performing roles he deserved the love of elders and younger.
In 2009, Annachary Kakabayev received the honorary title of “Honored Artist of Turkmenistan” for his unwavering contribution to the development of the Turkmen theater. In 2011, he was awarded the commemorative medal for “20th Anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan”.
